Abstract

Economic Reforms which has began in China from 1970’s made important economic souvenir and opened the way towards industrial modernization. Use of free trade advantage through setting up and development of free zones, namely, special economic zones and adoption of new policies, made this country powerful to reach the economic growth rate amounting to 9 percent in 25 years ago, so it appeared actively and efficiently in international economy.
In this context, present paper aims to represent lessons from China’s experiences in regard to management and policy making in special economic zones. In an evaluation some important factors have been identified for performance of special economic zones in the field of export promotion, attraction of foreign investment, infrastructural development pattern and employment generation.
