The major aim of this research is to determine the degree of student’s learning motivation at Tehran University. To this end, independent variables such as stimulus, learning, environmental conditions, curriculum contents, competition, usefulness of materials, academic abilities and skills have all been coherently examined by using a descriptive method and techniques of inferential statistics.
The outcome indicates a reasonalbe degree of learning spirit and great interest in academic disciplines which will contribute to the improvement of studet’s education atmosphere learning motivation. However, in the circumstances, the learning motivation is not evidently felt among the students. The curriculum contents will be a great assistance to them as well. Whereas the curricula have not appropriately been adapted and geared to the student’s needs, they are inspired by the teaching methods of well-experienced professors. Such inspiration will lead to further knowledge acquisition in their learning process.
