Abstract

The good will,is one of the key concepts in Kant's philosphy of ethics that is a deontological ethics. This essay, first, deal with
status of philosiphy of ethics among ehical schools, and then with meaning of good will from attitude of Kant. Kant believes that it is
impossible to conceive anything int he world, or even out of it, which can be taken as good without limitation save only a good
will. The other goods, such as, wealth, knowledge, and so on, are cinditioned good. The goodness of a good will is not derived from
the goodness of the ends at which it aims, or its usefulness in the attainment of sime set end, but it is good of itself. He also argues
the goodness of good will from way of operation of reason. In the end, we discuss meaning of good and will and concept of good is
derived from moral law, not inversely.
